On the 18th, KT&G Sangsang Madang Nonsan will host the "2024 Nolbit Market," a flea market aimed at helping local small business owners expand their market reach and enhancing community interaction.
Since its inception in 2018 until last year, the 'Nolbit Market' has been held five times, establishing itself as a signature festival in Nonsan with participation from 78 local small business owners and attracting over 3,000 cumulative visitors.
The "2024 Nolbit Market" will feature 14 entities including social enterprises, village enterprises, and cooperatives, showcasing a variety of local brand products such as strawberry preserves and strawberry chocolates made from locally grown produce, as well as handmade wooden diaries and handmade candles.
Additionally, in celebration of Family Month, the market will offer various programs such as cooking with local specialties, bookmark crafting, bubble shows, and busking performances that the whole family can enjoy.
Jeong-yoon Kim, Manager at KT&G Sangsang Madang Nonsan, stated, "We hope the Nolbit Market will help local small business owners and contribute to revitalizing the local economy, turning it into a festival enjoyed by the community. We plan to continue introducing diverse programs so that Sangsang Madang Nonsan can remain a beloved space for community engagement and cultural and artistic experiences."
