649 KT&G Recruits Participants for the ‘2024 Sangsang Marketing School 17th Edition’ 2024.03.18
KT&G (President Baek Bok-In) is recruiting for the ‘2024 Sangsang Marketing School 17th Edition,’ until April 11th, in order to provide college students nationwide with practical marketing experience opportunities.

The ‘Sangsang Marketing School,’ which started in 2010, is a marketing education and practical experience program for college students aimed at enhancing their marketing capabilities. To date, over 20,000 college students nationwide have completed the Sangsang Marketing School program.

This program can be applied for through the Sangsang Univ website (www.sangsanguniv.com) and is open to all college students (including those on a leave of absence) nationwide who are interested in marketing. Selected participants through application review will participate in the program from April 29th to June 28th.

The ‘2024 Sangsang Marketing School 17th Edition’ is divided into three stages: ‘Challenger,‘ ‘Changer,’ and ‘Hackerthon‘. The ‘Challenger‘ stage is a basic course involving lectures by experts and assignment completion. Based on the evaluation results, the top 10%, or 80 individuals (16 teams), will proceed to the second ‘Changer‘ stage. The final 16 teams will compete in the last ‘Hackerthon‘ stage, conducting competitive presentations, with cash prizes awarded to the outstanding teams. The total prize pool amounts to 18 million KRW.

Lee Si-Hyeong, the head of KT&G Univ operations, stated, "At the 2024 Sangsang Marketing School, we plan to share hands-on experiences centered around real-life cases from marketing experts, offering insights not available from books." He added, "We aim to provide practical marketing experiences to college students aspiring to become marketers, hoping to see the imagination of the future generation recreated as societal value."

Meanwhile, ‘Sangsang Univ‘ has been a comprehensive community for college students operated by KT&G since 2010 to provide them with various experiences and learning opportunities, with over 1 million participants to date. Sangsang Univ offers various programs such as ‘Sangsang Marketing School,‘ ‘Sangsang Blue Pavilion,‘ and ‘Sangsang Village Festival,‘ providing a platform for college students nationwide to grow through exchange.
