KT&G Sangsang Univ Indonesia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 8th with Tarumanagara University (UNTAR) in Jakarta, aimed at supporting the growth of Indonesian university students.

The MOU ceremony, aimed at supporting and nurturing the university student community, saw participation from officials of KT&G Sangsang Univ Indonesia and Tarumanagara University. Through this agreement, KT&G Sangsang Univ Indonesia plans to inaugurate a ‘Sangsang Univ Zone’ within the Tarumanagara University campus, expanding its support for college students.

KT&G Sangsang Univ' is a social contribution program operated by KT&G domestically and internationally to enhance the cultural literacy and employability of university students. Since 2017, KT&G has been operating Sangsang Univ comprised of local university students in Indonesia. Notable programs include online and offline classes, Sangsang Festa, and Sangsang Startup School.

The ‘Sangsang Univ Zone’ will serve as a central hub for Sangsang Univ activities and a creative space within the university, offering a variety of lectures beyond the regular curriculum. Sangsang Univ has already inaugurated ‘Sangsang Univ Zones’ at Jakarta State University and Binus University, with over 20,000 cumulative participants in the Indonesian Sangsang Univ Zones.
