KT&G (CEO Baek Bok-in) has announced that the early bird tickets for the '2024 KT&G Sangsang Festival', set to be held in April, were sold out within a minute of going on sale on February 14th. Regular ticket sales will commence on March 6th.

The '2024 KT&G Sangsang Festival' will take place from April 27th to 28th in front of the KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon in Gangwon Province, Chuncheon, near the Uiamho Lake. This year's festival has been expanded to two days to commemorate the 10th anniversary of KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon. It aims to be a gathering space for artists who have grown with the festival over the past decade and to welcome a larger audience.

‘The Sangsang Festival’ is a comprehensive cultural and arts festival first launched by KT&G in 2012 to invigorate local culture and broaden the cultural arts base. It has established itself as a leading local cultural festival, offering musicians performances along with various cultural and artistic programs. The festival has consistently sold out every session.

This year's '2024 KT&G Sangsang Festival' promises a stunning lineup of performances by top domestic musicians and emerging artists. Famous musicians such as Jannabi, Jang Kiha, and Car, the Garden, as well as new musicians discovered through KT&G Sangsangmadang's artist support program, will participate and present unique live performances.

In particular, this year will feature special programs to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the opening of KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon. Commemorative videos and limited-edition commemorative goods will be unveiled at the event, and plaques of appreciation will be presented in advance to artists who have participated in the festival more than five times.

Kim Cheon-beom, the head of KT&G's Culture Contribution Department, stated, "In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the opening of Sangsangmadang Chuncheon, we are fully prepared to provide audiences with an even more meaningful experience. We anticipate that this festival, created together by artists and audiences amidst the beautiful natural scenery of spring, will be a distinctive event."
