KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan hosts the 4th ARTISTART exhibition, showcasing the works of local art university graduates.

The fourth edition of ARTISTART held this year is KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan's representative artist support program aimed at discovering emerging local artists with potential and possibilities. ARTISTART is a portmanteau of art, artist, and start, and is designed to support the beginnings of local art university graduates taking their first steps as artists.

This exhibition will showcase works from around 100 prospective artists from 10 universities. The exhibition will take place at KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan Gallery in Seomyeon, Busan, from January 23 to March 2. Following this, a touring exhibition will be held at the 3.15 Art Center in Changwon, Gyeongnam, from March 6 to 24. The selected outstanding works will be exhibited at KT&G Sangsangmadang Daechi Gallery from April 29 to May 30.

A representative of KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan stated, "Through ARTISTART, we will continue to introduce the innovative works of local prospective artists and develop it into a cultural arts platform that encompasses genres and generations," adding, "We will continue to provide generous support to ensure that young artists can actively engage in artistic activities in the future."

Meanwhile, KT&G Sangsangmadang is a multi-cultural arts space that supports the creative activities of emerging artists and provides a broad cultural experience to the public. Operating five Sangsangmadang locations since the inception of Sangsangmadang Hongdae in 2007, including Nonsan, Chuncheon, Daechi, and Busan, it contributes to the expansion of cultural arts and the development of local culture. Sangsangmadang attracts approximately 3 million visitors annually, with around 3,000 cultural and artistic programs being conducted each year.
