KT&G (CEO Baek Bok-in) is conducting Year-end Kimchi Sharing Events in various regions to help the winter season for socially marginalized groups.

On the 22nd, KT&G held the Year-end Kimchi Sharing Event at KT&G Sangsang Planet, a youth startup space located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, where kimchi volunteering and delivery ceremonies took place. The event was attended by about 50 people, including Lee Sang-hak, KT&G's Head of Sustainable Management (Vice President), Jung Won-oh, Seongdong-gu Mayor, KT&G employees, Sangsang Planet resident company employees, and Seongdong-gu youth volunteers. The 500 portions of kimchi prepared by the volunteers were delivered to 300 low-income households in the Seongdong-gu area.

The kimchi sharing event also took place in Chuncheon on the 23rd. The event, held at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon, was attended by KT&G officials, officials from the Gangwon Province Social Welfare Council, and local volunteers, supporting a total of 410 low-income households in the Chuncheon area with 900 portions of kimchi.

Furthermore, KT&G plans to continue the kimchi sharing events in various regions, including Cheonan Factory, Yeongju Factory, and Daegu Headquarters, until next month, reaching out with warmth to different communities.

In addition to kimchi sharing, KT&G plans to continue winter sharing activities for socially marginalized groups, including coal donations and support for winter items and living expenses until the end of the year.

A KT&G representative stated, "We have decided to deliver kimchi to our neighbors who are in need of a warm year-end," adding, "We will continue to actively support activities in collaboration with the local community to spread a culture of sharing."
