KT&G (CEO Baek Bok-in) has launched a full-scale support campaign for the World Expo 2030 Busan, utilizing both online and offline methods such as busking, laser performances, and social media promotion.

On the 19th, a busking event expressing hopes for hosting the World Expo took place at KT&G Sangsangmadang in Busan. Six teams, including minƵu and Suyeon, produced by Sangsangmadang Busan, participated in the performance, conveying messages wishing for the success of the expo. Another round of busking is scheduled for the 26th.

On the evening of the 25th, a laser performance projecting messages wishing for the World Expo to be hosted will be displayed on the outer walls of Sangsangmadang Busan's building. From the 22nd to the 27th, a Media Facade Hundred Days utilizing social media channels with the theme "When the 2030 Expo opens in Busan, ~" will take place.

Furthermore, promotional videos for hosting the World Expo will be broadcast through all offline Sangsangmadang locations, including Sangsangplanet, and online through KT&G's official social media channels.

KT&G has been consistently involved in promotional activities to support the successful hosting of the Busan World Expo. Sangsangmadang Busan presented various programs, including large-scale banner performances through Festival Siot, and installed Bugi, a character embodying a seagull in Busan, at five Sangsangmadang locations nationwide, Sangsangplanet, and 115 national sales outlets. Additionally, the company conducted a promotion campaign by attaching expo support stickers to 885 nationwide operating vehicles.

In addition, promotional videos are being screened at Univzone, a youth support space operating in Indonesia. Efforts are also being made overseas, with expo support banners and banners being installed at the Indonesian Korean Language Institute, vocational training centers, major overseas branches, and factories.

A KT&G representative stated, "Hosting the World Expo is expected to bring various positive effects, including revitalizing the local economy and enhancing the national image." They added, "Until the final selection day, we will continue to carry out a comprehensive support campaign for hosting the Busan World Expo."
