KT&G hosts “Family Communications Camp”, where people can feel love of family in the nature
- Poet An Do-hyun will deliver a lecture on liturature
- The event will take place at KT&G Sangsang Madang in Nonsan for two days. 

KT&G hosts “Family Communication Camp”, of which the theme is liturature and camping. The program’s activities will remind people of the value of family and will foster a healthy societal culture.

The city of Nonsan supports the event, and 120 people from 30 families, including some underprivileged families will participate. The event will be held at “KT&G Sangsang Madang Nonsan” on Oct 24 and Nov 15, each time for two days overnight.

An Do-hyun, a poet well known for his poem “Don't you just kick off coal briquette ashes”, will give lectures on liturature. The participants will have an opportunity to ruminate over the meaning of life and the importance of family, through An Do-hyun’s lecture. He will talk about his work “Salmon”, which metaphorically depicts the pain of growth that humans must endure. Then the participants will dine and lodge at “Art Camping Village” at Sangsang Madang, and have a cozy time with their families in the nature, away from their daily routines.

An official from KT&G commented, “Rebuilding the family is crucial to resolving problems arising from todays’ increasingly heartless society. Although it is only two days, I wish the particiapants could have a chance to meditate on the value of family”.

Besides, in order to provide with the local residents an opportunity to enjoy culture and to contribute to the cultural development in the local community, KT&G is operating Sangsang Madang – a culture and arts complex - in Nonsan and Chuncheon in addition to Hong-ik University area of Seoul.
