KT&G invites college students to join  “Sangsang Marketing School”

- the program is held simultaneously across 14 regions including Jeju Island, and 1,300 participants are invited until August 18th


KT&G, until August 18th, is inviting college students across the country to participate in the 9th “Sangsang Marketing School” to experience and learn actual business marketing.

 

“Sangsang Marketing School” is a marketing education program launched in 2010, and has hosted about 10,000 college students for 8 times. This program was selected by Campus Job and Joy, a college student magazine, as the “the best public activities – marketing part” for two consecutive years.

 

The program includes marketer’s lectures and marketing presentation competitions. This year, marketers from leading companies such as Google, SK Telecom, Yuhan-Kimberly, and young entrepreneurs of start-ups such as “Open Closet”, a non-profit institution that lends business suits to job-seekers, would share their lively marketing experience with the students.

 

All university students may apply for “Sangsang Marketing School”. Applications are received through KT&G Sangsang Univ website (www.sangsanguniv.com). 1,300 participant will be selected and will join the program since late August until early November.
 
In order to give equal opportunites to all college students across the country, KT&G is running the program simultaneously in 14 regions around Korea, including Jeju Islands since this year. All education programs are offered for free, as part of the company’s social responsibility activities for young people looking for jobs.

 

The person in charge commented that “Sang sang Marketing School is so popular and competitive that only 10% of the applicants in metropolitan are accepted, and over 4,000 students apply for the program every year; it has provided with the students substantial help. The Mentoring Program was particularly popular, so this year as the mentoring program was particularly popular, this year will reinforce the mentoring program with professional marketers.
