KT&G held its sixth “Sangsang Realization Creativity Contest” at KT&G building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

There are three fields of competition: (a) corporate advertisement, (b) CSR plans, and (c) video scenario to promote the slogan ‘Sangsang journey! It’s time to go global!’. Two rounds of review and mentoring workshops to develop the ideas followed.

Among 18 prize-winning teams, Jae-sok Lee with ‘I Will Make a Horizontal Stroke’ won the grand award in the field of corporate advertisement. For CSR plans, ‘Park’s Team’ with ‘Aid Solution for Working Children in Tobacco Plantation in Malawi’ won the prize. Ji-soo Kim with ‘Imagination Crossing the Borders’ won video scenario award.

KRW 20.4 million in total was awarded including KRW 3 million for the Grand Prize, and KRW 1 million for the Excellence Award. In addition, the team winning the Grand Prize will be given opportunities to visit overseas.

Jae-sok Lee, the Grand Prize winner commented that, “KT&G Sangsang Realization Creativity Contest
provides an unique opportunity for me to meet seasoned professionals in person to receive helpful advices on my idea. I am so happy that I had an opportunity to improve my ideas and leap forward in my field’.
