654 KT&G Welfare Center Delivers Medical Kits of KRW 400 Million won for the Underprivile 2015.12.15

 

KT&G Welfare Center, headed by Young-kyun Kwak, delivers emergency medical kits equivalent to KRW 400 million to 12,500 low-income households.

 

KT&G Welfare Center, in cooperation with Korea association of social welfare centers, will deliver medical kits to low-income house excluded of medical care due to economic challenge. The medical kit includes 21 kinds of emergency medical items including antiseptic, bandages, Band-Aid, and pain relief patches.

 

KT&G Welfare Center official said, “We started this program based on the request that emergency medical kits are essential for people during cold winter season when safety accidents may arise. The Center will keep actively supporting the underprivileged people suffering from the hardships of life.’

 

KT&G Welfare Center, established in 2003, for more efficient social welfare realization, operates eight ‘Happy Network Welfare Centers’ for customized service for local community and provides professional welfare service for the underprivileged and local community including social welfare facility, low-income households, senior citizen, and the disables.
