‘KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon’ Holds a Variety of Events on its 1st Anniversary.
- Over 250,000 people visited the place since opening 

‘KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon’ will provide a variety of programs for visitors and local community from April 25th to May 10th to celebrate its first anniversary.

KT&G (CEO: Youngjin Min) opened ‘KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon’ last year after renovating Chuncheon Child Centre and Kangwondo Sports Centre for the purpose of culture & arts development and economic revitalization in Kangwon Province. The place has provided various culture and art programs as a tourist spot and also a representative culture complex for local community. The number of accumulated visitors amounts to 250,000.

To celebrate its 1st anniversary, Sangsang Madang Chuncheon provides ‘Mamamia Concert’ by ABBA Girls on May 2nd and ‘for the highest viewing rate in the classroom’ by Cheol-hwan Joo, a professor of Aju University. A photo exhibition, ‘space, human and family’ covering daily lives in Chuncheon opens between April 23rd and June 14th. College bands based in Chuncheon will give a ‘Sangsang Madang Unicorn’ concert on April 30th.

In addition, ‘one-day shot junior’ to memorize 24 hours with family in Chuncheon, a play ‘Pied Piper’ with children’s participation, free magic shows, and animation movies are provided for family participants. Hyoseok Ji, head of Social Responsibilities Division of KT&G said, “I hope the visitors of Sangsang Madang Chuncheon will get rid of daily fatigue in a space mixed with nature and also make memories from a variety of programs”.

KT&G operates three “KT&G Sangsang Madang” in Hongdae (Seoul), Nonsan(Chungnam) and Chuncheon to provide creative activity for minority or new artists and a diversity of cultural experience for people.
