662 KT&G Launches Special Version of RAISON BLUE TIME CAPSULE 2013.12.12

 

 

 

KT&G (CEO Min Young-jin) is to sell a limited quantity of RAISON BLUE TIME CAPSULE fitted with one special cigarette for three weeks.

 

RAISON BLUE TIME CAPSULE consists of 19 cigarettes plus one with a capsule in its filter, and if this special cigarette capsule is burst, the flavor of RAISON BLUE, first launched in 2002, can be tasted.

 

On the front of the pack, an image of a cat magically bursting a time capsule is conveyed in five different ways, and on the back, a cat that has returned to the past is wittily presented by using some of the RAISON BLUE design at the time of its initial launch.

 

RAISON has recorded a market share of more than 6% since its launch in 2002, establishing itself as a truly steady seller. In particular, it has made innovative attempts such as operating a “refrigerated showcase” and applying the technology of mixing cigarettes of different kinds by putting two different kinds of cigarettes in one pack for the first time in the nation’s history.  

 

KT&G brand team leader Kim Gwan-jung said, RAISON has had favorable consumer responses so far through more than 10 types of special versions such as D’etre Special, with a pack covered with cultural codes, and Graffiti Special, which expressed youthful passion, adding that with this product, consumers will be able to feel pleased by recalling old memories.”

 

RAISON BLUE TIME CAPSULE contains 3.0 mg of tar and 0.3mg of nicotine, the same as the existing product. The price is also 2,500 per pack.
