KT&G (CEO Min Young-jin) is to release the premium cigarette ESSE GOLDEN LEAF 1mg, which uses the highest-quality leaf tobacco, on November 27.  

ESSE GOLDEN LEAF 1mg was developed to meet the needs of customers who want a low-tar, highest-quality cigarette. It was blended with the highest grade of leaf tobacco domestically produced, so that it is mild and its natural, rich flavor can be tasted.

Refined luxuriousness was added to the pack by expressing mother-of-pearl patterns of a pine tree on white hologram paper in a modern sense. This design was born in collaboration with a master craftsman of lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

In particular, the Low Ignition Propensity cigarette manufacturing technology Blue Band has been applied to ESSE GOLDEN LEAF. Blue Band is a technology that increases the probability of a cigarette being put out in certain conditions because part of the cigarette paper is coated with special natural substances.

Meanwhile, KT&G will release 150,000 packs of ESSE GOLDEN LEAF limited edition in celebration of the launch of ESSE GOLDEN LEAF 1mg. This product was manually produced by adopting cases of high-quality material.

The new products ESSE GOLDEN LEAF 1mg and the limited edition contain 1.0mg of tar and 0.1mg of nicotine. The price is ₩4,000 and ₩10,000, per pack, respectively.
