(CEO Min Young-jin) is holding the “Fourth Creativity Contest for Sangsang (Imagination)
Realization” on the topic of “A world where imagination is realized.”
The distinct feature of this contest is that, unlike other
contests, it is run through communication between the contestants, netizens,
and specialists from the application stage to the final screening until a
feasible idea is produced. In other words, participants in the contest may
adopt the ideas about improvement suggested by netizens in their comments after
registering their works on the website, or revise or supplement their works
with mentoring from specialists at the workshop slated to be held during
November, and submit the works completed through such a process for final
screening.
The fields for the contest are divided into three sectors,
culture and art-related events and promotion planning, campaigns for smoking manners
aimed at establishing the right smoking culture, paper advertising on the topic
of KT&G social contribution, etc. The application period is from October 14
to 31.
The final prizewinners will be announced on December 17.
Cash prizes will be awarded to a total of 18 teams, with ₩3 million for the grand prize and ₩1 million for the second-place prize by field. Netizens who have suggested
excellent ideas for the prizewinning works will be issued a gift certificate
worth ₩300,000.
A KT&G official said, “The creativity contest is a new concept contest in which contestants
and the public share in the process of producing ideas,” adding that “we are going to actively
utilize the prize-winning works to ensure that the contestants’ original
imaginations will be realized.”
Entry is open to anyone who is a
