KT&G (President Bang
Kyung-man) announced today the successful conclusion of the 18th ‘SangSang
Marketing School 2025,’
a marketing education program for university students.
The ‘SangSang Marketing
School’ is a hands-on marketing education program operated by KT&G since
2010. Designed to strengthen university
students' practical marketing skills and boost their employability, the program
has grown into a leading marketing education course, with over 20,000 students
having completed it to date.
Now in its 18th year, the ‘SangSang
Marketing School 2025’ recruited college students interested in marketing
nationwide in April and carried out the program in two phases. The program
began with the ‘Challenger’ course, which featured a lecture on marketing
fundamentals and an idea assignment. High-performing participants were then
selected to advance to the ‘Hackathon’ course, a two-night, three-day
team-based competition. The Hackathon was conducted in a competitive
presentation format, challenging participants with real-world marketing tasks.
A total of KRW 9 million in cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the
top teams following a final round of judging.
Throughout the program,
students received lectures and mentoring from seasoned marketing professionals,
gaining valuable insights into the industry and hands-on opportunities to
develop strategic thinking skills.
“SangSang Marketing School
has been offering young people practical career exploration and hands-on
experience for the past 10 years,” said Shim Young-ah, Head of KT&G’s ESG
Management Office. “We hope the aspiring marketers who completed the program
will grow into professionals equipped with both expertise and creativity.”
