784 Spring Cultural Outings with KT&G SangSang Madang 2025.04.10

KT&G (President Bang Kyung-man) is hosting a series of vibrant arts and culture programs across the country this April to celebrate the arrival of spring. Starting this weekend, KT&G SangSang Madang will offer a variety of programs open to everyone.

One of the main events is the 2025 KT&G SangSang Realization Festival in Chuncheon, taking place on Apr. 19 and 20 at KT&G SangSang Madang Chuncheon. Top Korean musicians such as Jang Kiha, Car, the Garden, and Silica Gel will perform, alongside emerging artists discovered through KT&G SangSang Madang’s artist support programs, delivering unique live performances. The festival will also feature a music-themed pop-up exhibition titled “Play & Pause.”

At KT&G SangSang Madang Hongdae, writing workshops will be held, including “Storytelling Workshop: Introduction to Screenwriting,” aimed at aspiring writers. Additionally, beginner-friendly one-day craft classes such as “Keyring Making” and “Monster Doll Crafting” will also be offered.

At KT&G SangSang Madang Daechi, the play “Pink Lipstick,” which explores the lives of dementia patients and their families, is currently being performed. Meanwhile, KT&G SangSang Madang Busan is hosting a street dance battle performance, titled “2025 NEXT-G Vol. 2: Dance Competition,” running until Apr. 13, 2025.

KT&G Director for ESG Management Shim Yeong-ah stated, “KT&G SangSang Madang is preparing programs this spring that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. We will continue to lead the way in creating content that the public can easily access and enjoy.”

KT&G SangSang Madang serves as a multifaceted cultural and artistic space, supporting the creative activities of emerging artists while offering diverse cultural experiences to the public. Since opening its first venue in Hongdae in 2007, the platform has expanded to five locations, including Nonsan, Chuncheon, Daechi, and Busan, contributing to the development of local arts and culture as well as the broadening of artistic and cultural engagement. KT&G SangSang Madang attracts around 3.1 million visitors annually and hosts over 3,000 artistic and cultural programs every year.
