has been ranked as the number one tobacco company for 18 consecutive years in
the 2025 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) by the Korea Management Association
Consulting (KMAC).
K-BPI is a highly credible indicator that evaluates brand
awareness, loyalty, and other factors by conducting consumer surveys on major
industries closely related to domestic consumption. KT&G received excellent
evaluations across all assessment categories and achieved the highest score in
the industry for brand awareness.
KT&G maintains its no. 1 market share in the domestic tobacco
market through differentiated products tailored to consumer needs and trends,
such as Esse, Raison, and Bohem. Also in 2017, KT&G launched the
heat-not-burn lil SOLID electronic cigarette device based on innovative
