KT&G (President Kyung-man Bang) is hosting the 7th 'Over the Rainbow' exhibition until the 18th at the KT&G Sangsang Madang Hongdae Gallery. 

Launched in 2018, the 'Over the Rainbow' exhibition series is a joint initiative by KT&G Sangsangmadang and the KT&G Welfare Foundation, aimed at supporting disabled artists and expanding the realm of artistic welfare and creative support. The exhibition's name, 'Over the Rainbow,' symbolizes a diverse and inclusive view of the world. 

Twelve participating artists, having received professional mentoring from experts in the visual arts, have created and submitted over 130 works based on the theme 'Moments When Rainbows Rise in Our Lives.' Visitors can also view an archive space assembled separately, showcasing works and histories from the past six exhibitions. Notably, this exhibition employs a 'Barrier-Free' approach, incorporating braille on all printed materials and providing sign language and subtitles in video content, ensuring accessibility for both disabled and non-disabled visitors.

Following the Seoul exhibition, KT&G will continue the exhibition tour at KT&G Sangsang Madang Busan from October 3rd to 14th, and at KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon from October 31st to November 12th. Additionally, to promote the participating artists and explore commercial opportunities for their works, selected pieces will be featured at the 'Bank Art Fair' held at the SETEC Convention Center from the 8th for three days.

Jung-yoon Kim, head of the Exhibition Department at KT&G's Cultural Contribution Division, expressed, "We hope that the 'Over the Rainbow' exhibition will provide the participating artists with an opportunity to enhance their skills and gain public recognition." He added, "We plan to continue designing diverse exhibition programs to broaden the cultural arts base and sustain support for artists with potential."
