KT&G Sangsang Planet Wins ‘Social Innovation Award’ at the Social i-Awards 2024 in the Digital Video Category

KT&G Sangsang Planet was awarded the 'Social Contribution Innovation Award' in the Digital Video category and the 'Grand Prize' in the YouTube category at the 'Social i-Awards 2024,' hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association.
The Social i-Awards is a social media event that recognizes and awards exemplary management of SNS media platforms such as blogs, YouTube, and Instagram.
KT&G Sangsang Planet was highly praised for enhancing interest in the social venture ecosystem through content that spotlighted the growth processes of young entrepreneurs' startups on its YouTube channel. Additionally, the support for marketing of resident companies through short-form content and the provision of useful information to young people preparing for entrepreneurship received positive evaluations.
Hoyeon Jang, Head of Social Contribution at KT&G, stated, “KT&G has been continuously expanding its support activities for young entrepreneurs through various customized programs based on Sangsang Planet,” and added, “We will continue to support the comprehensive growth of young entrepreneurs and strive to vitalize the social innovation startup ecosystem.”
Sangsang Planet is a youth entrepreneurship space opened by KT&G in 2020 in Seongsu-dong's 'Social Venture Valley' to nurture social innovation entrepreneurs and create youth employment. It has established itself as a hub for youth entrepreneurship by providing various growth support programs aimed at enhancing practical skills through education and mentoring, as well as programs to promote interaction among resident companies.
