KT&G Scholarship Foundation Unveils Comprehensive Homepage Redesign 2024.01.22
The KT&G Scholarship Foundation has launched a comprehensively redesigned website.

The newly unveiled website (scholarship.ktngtogether.com) is uniquely designed to showcase the KT&G Scholarship Foundation's mission and detailed information about each program at a glance. This is evident in the website’s initial screen, which features the slogan ‘Answering everyone's imagination about learning’ and provides direct access to information about various scholarship programs.

This website redesign brings an upgraded web experience and significantly streamlines the scholarship application process. Applicants can complete and submit their applications online without requiring separate procedures such as mailing documents.

In addition, an ‘e-Library’ on the Foundation’s website is set to open on the 31st. This service will allow KT&G Imagination Scholarship recipients and their mentors (teachers) to borrow up to three books for seven days at a time, free of charge, using various smart devices. The e-library will be stocked with around 1,000 titles, including bestsellers across multiple genres.

Ahn Hong-pil, the Secretary General of the KT&G Scholarship Foundation, stated, “We focused on enhancing user convenience in our website revamp and are also launching an e-library to ensure easy access to a wide range of books and information for our Sangsang scholarship recipients and mentors. We will continue to strive to provide opportunities for young people in need of educational support to develop their potential fully through the Foundation’s distinctive programs.”

Since its establishment in 2008, the KT&G Scholarship Foundation has been actively engaged in various scholarship programs domestically and internationally to support educationally underserved communities and nurture future talent. In collaboration with the Korea Mecenat Association, the Foundation also annually selects and supports scholarship students in arts and culture, contributing to discovering talented young artists. As of the end of last year, the Foundation has provided a cumulative total of 43.5 billion won in scholarships and has supported over 10,000 scholarship recipients.
