KT&G introduces online dividend inquiry service
2023.04.10
KT&G (CEO Baek Bok-in) is striving to enhance the convenience of the stockholders by introducing the online dividend inquiry service from the 10th.
KT&G will enable stockholders to easily check the dividend information by substituting the dividend notification sent to stockholders through postage mail with the online inquiry service for checking the relevant information on the PC and mobile units in real-time.
This online dividend inquiry service offered from the 10th to the 5th of the next month can be used following a simple membership subscription and stockholder verification on the website of KT&G ( www.ktng.com ). Through this service, members can check the details of the dividend payment for the stocks of KT&G they own, as of the date of the settlement dividend payment for 2022 in real-time, and can receive dividend-related information through the corresponding service prior to and after the dividend payment date in the future.
KT&G is aiming to further strengthen its practice of ESG management by reducing the use of paper in the process of forwarding dividend payment information to more than 170,000 stockholders through postage mail every year, by introducing this online inquiry service.
Meanwhile, KT&G made a resolution to pay a cash dividend of 5,000 KRW per stock at the 36th General Annual Meeting of Stockholders held on March 28. This corresponds to a dividend payout ratio of 57.8%.
An interested party of KT&G disclosed that, “we introduced the online dividend inquiry service to enhance the convenience of investors, and to participate in further practicing of ESG management”, and that, “we will continue to put efforts to more assertive communication with the market, and enhance the value of our stocks in more diversified aspects in the future.”
