To commemorate Family Month (May) in Korea, KT&G (CEO Baek Bok-in) launches a program to assist employees in returning to normal life.

This event, which began on the 13th, was designed to promote the physical and mental health of all executives and employees who have experienced difficulties due to personal and family COVID-19 diagnoses and job vacancies. 

The 'Cheer Up KT&G Kit', which includes products for fatigue recovery, immunity enhancement, and personal hygiene management, has been produced and distributed to employees by KT&G. In addition, the CEO distributed support cards with a message of encouragement to executives and employees who have continued to work under challenging conditions due to COVID-19.

This support program for KT&G employees was held as part of the company's in-house 'Gahwa Mansaseong' initiative. ‘Gahwa Mansaseong', which means 'everything in the company is successful when the family is harmonious', is a family-friendly program that KT&G has operated since 2017 to support the work-life balance of its employees. 

This content is presented throughout the year in accordance with the concept of "care for each member's life cycle.” The main activities include the delivery of congratulatory gifts to children of employees entering school, the delivery of flower baskets to employees to congratulate them on childbirth and pregnancy, and the distribution of gifts of encouragement to high school students. This year, the company intends to introduce a new 'caring' theme to support the 2030 generation, including young people, singles, and single-person households.

Meanwhile, KT&G has been certified as an excellent family-friendly company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2020 following 2015 in recognition of its contribution to introducing and operating various family-friendly systems.
