KT&G (President Baek Bok-in) announced the final selection of the 3rd KT&G Sangsang Stage Challenge. The final selected musical “Robin” will be opened in March next year at Sangsang Madang Daechi Art Hall.

'KT G Sangsang Stage Challenge' is a program designed to support domestic creative dramas that hope for the stage and audience. Since 2017, KT&G has identified and supported potential works through the 'Sangsang Stage Challenge' every year.

This year, a competition was held for creative musicals and plays, and “Robin,” a creative musical, was selected as the final work after overcoming the 40: 1 competition. Showplay Co., Ltd. of 'Robin' is planning to show its first performance in Sangsang Madang Daechi Art Hall in March next year with the support for production cost, theater and equipment.

The musical 'Robin' is a sci-fi humanism performance that tells the importance of the family by depicting the story of dad and daughter in the background of the universe. On the other hand, the musical 'The Fiction' and the play 'Round Trip Letter', which were selected prior to the 'Sangsang Stage Challenge', all performed successfully. In particular, the “Round Trip Letter” has been re-performed since September based on the success of its first performance.
