KT&G Signs MOU with Joint Forces Military University for ‘Leadership Development and Local Community Contribution’ 

KT&G signed an MOU with Joint Forces Military University for ‘Leadership Development and Local Community Contribution’ at KT&G’s HR Development Center in Daejeon City on August 14.

The MOU pledged to promote cooperation for leadership development including the sharing of leadership training contents and lecturer exchange program.

According to the MOU, a variety of social contribution for local community will be supported. For example, KT&G will support solders in study, deliver free lunch boxes for the underprivileged and help talent donation, using ‘Sangsang Fund’ raised via voluntary donation by KT&G executives and staffs.

Heung-ryul Kim, head of Support Division within KT&G, said “The MOU will promote the leadership development within KT&G and Joint Forces Military University which brings up the best military specialists. KT&G will cooperate for local community as a leading socially responsible company.”

Byunggil Yoo, president of Joint Forces Military University said “I am pleased to sign MOU with KT&G as old as Korean history. The University will actively communicate with KT&G for leadership development and social contribution for local community.”
