KT&G(CEO: Mr. Min Young-jin) will hold the ‘2013 CINE ICON’ for selecting actors who shined the film industry in 2013 and rookies for 2013 and introducing and screening their films in KT&G Sangsangmadang in Hongdae until January 5th.

For actors who were the ICONS OF THE YEAR, Jeong Yu-mi in ‘Our Seon-hee’, Ha Jung-woo in ‘The Terror, Live’, Marion Cotillard in ‘Rust and Bone’, and Michael Douglas in ‘Behind the Candelabra’ were selected.

For ‘CINE ICON’ for introducing new stars who attract audiences, 11 actors including Jeong Eun-chae in ‘Haewon Who is not Anybody’s Daughter’ and Tom Hiddlestone in ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ were chosen and
‘2014 NEW ICON’ are five actors including Lee Ju-seong in ‘Shuttlecock’ and Oscar Isaac in ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’.

More than three films of the selected actors will be screened in KT&G Sangsangmadang Cinema a day, and for further information, it is available from the website( http://www.sangsangmadang.com ).

On the forthcoming 31st, the ‘2013 Sangsang Awards’, which will screen the films selected as the best films in the year by audiences, will be held and donations gathered during the special screening will be collected to be delivered to the poor. KT&G has run ‘KT&G Sangsangmadang’, cultural complex since 2007, finding young artists with continuous supports for minority culture and art and providing broad chances of enjoying cultures to the public in order to popularize minority culture and art.
