KT&G
(CEO Min Young-jin) is to sell for one month a limited version of BOHEM CIGAR
MINI that adds an “interesting twist” before and after opening the cigarette
pack.
This product has been produced with the design theme of a
gentleman of the country of cigars, Cuba, and with the world’s smallest
hummingbird; when the metal packaging on the front of the product is opened,
the hat, with the characters of a gentleman and hummingbird is taken off, while
at the same time, tiny hummingbirds are shown to fly impressively high, adding
an unusual twist.
The distinctive features of BOHEM CIGAR MINI, launched
last January, are that it applies a cigar wrapping method that involves rolling
up cigarettes that contain cigar leaf in cigarette paper for super-slim
cigarettes for the first time in the world, and using cigar leafs of South
American origin, including from Cuba, for 20% of the raw material leaf tobacco,
thereby realizing a cigar’s unique, enhanced flavor despite its compact size.
KT&G BOHEM team leader Kwon Min-seok said, “BOHEM CIGAR MINI is currently getting highly popular in such
a way that approximately 6.6 hundred million cigarettes have been sold in just
11 months since being launched,” adding that “because this limited version has adopted a special packaging
technology, consumers will be able to enjoy BOHEM CIGAR’s authentic, rich
flavor, feeling further refreshed.”
The limited version of BOHEM
CIGAR MINI to be launched this time is released in two types with 1mg and 5mg
tar, which are the same as the existing products. The price is also the same: ₩2,500 per pack.
