On the 17th, approximately three weeks after his inauguration, KT&G President Bang Kyung-man engaged in a 'Casual Meeting' with employees, signaling a move towards robust communication management.

The event was held in the lounge on the 20th floor of the KT&G Seoul Headquarters, attended by about 20 employees from various jobs and ranks. The meeting proceeded in a relaxed atmosphere without a formal agenda or moderator, with President Bang Kyung-man and the employees enjoying drinks and refreshments at standing tables, fostering an environment of informal communication.

President Bang Kyung-man shared his personal growth story, from joining KT&G as a new recruit in 1998 to taking on the significant role of CEO 27 years later. He shared candid stories of his experiences and insights as a company senior. Additionally, he sought employees' opinions on the company's mid- to long-term vision and growth strategies and engaged in informal discussions on various topics beyond work, including hobbies and interests.

Inaugurated as the new CEO on the 28th of the previous month, President Bang Kyung-man immediately visited KT&G's Chungnam Headquarters and Seo Daejeon Branch on his first day in office, emphasizing communication with the sales team on the ground. He plans to continue this proactive communication approach with employees, starting with this 'Casual Meeting.'

A KT&G representative commented, "This event was organized to reflect the management's desire to communicate freely with team members, breaking away from traditional formats and fostering consensus on the company's vision. We will continue to promote a culture of bidirectional communication among staff to develop a more horizontal and flexible organizational culture."
