ISO 45001 certification, an international safety and health management system, was obtained in 2021 and continuously maintained to implementation of safety and health management.

By establishing an IT system-based integrated management system, we have improved management efficiency and respond more systematically to risks.
LTIFR Goal Management
KT&G operates LTIFR (Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate) goals linked to ESG indicators, contributing to further strengthen global industrial accident management.
Disaster Risk Alerts
We issue alerts with differentiated risk levels according to disaster severity and implement optimized preventive measures for each level.
Third-party Management System Review
We conduct professional consulting to verify the adequacy of our safety and health management system and compliance with relevant regulations.
Safety and Health Advisory Committee
We operate an advisory committee composed of external experts to minimize safety and health risks, and provide technical responses to potential hazards.
Fire and Explosion Prevention
To prevent damage from fires and explosions, we are strengthening management through facility improvements such as sprinklers and fire compartments, simulation consulting, and control system implementation.
Occupational Disease Prevention
To prevent occupational diseases caused by hazardous factors, KT&G manages potential hazardous agents. We will continue to conduct health hazard prevention activities through improvements in engineering and management.
Health Promotion Program
We are working to establish a healthy wellness culture by operating company-wide running programs as part of managing health concerns such as obesity and forming exercise habits.
