KT&G Welfare Foundation Conducts the 64th ‘Areumdri Dream Drawing’ Mural Painting Volunteer Activity

On the 25th, the KT&G Welfare Foundation conducted the 'Areumdri Dream Drawing' volunteer activity, painting murals on school walls to create a pleasant learning environment.
Areumdri Dream Drawing' is a volunteer activity that aims to improve the community landscape by creating bright school routes adorned with murals. Since its inception in 2005, this initiative has been carried out in a total of 63 schools.
This mural painting activity took place at Seonrin Elementary School in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, with the participation of 155 volunteers, including KT&G Welfare Foundation employees and university student volunteers. The volunteers covered the 175-meter-long school walls inside and outside with various paintings expressing children's dreams and hopes and the beauty of the four seasons. Art major university students played a crucial role by designing and sketching the mural drafts and guiding the coloring activities, enhancing the murals' overall quality.
A representative from the KT&G Welfare Foundation stated, "Under the slogan 'Realizing advanced welfare by sharing happiness together,' the KT&G Welfare Foundation is carrying out various public interest projects," and added, "We will continue to strive to spread a culture of sharing through sincere social welfare projects."
Meanwhile, the KT&G Welfare Foundation, a social welfare corporation established by KT&G in 2003 to communicate with the local community and fulfill corporate social responsibility, provides localized welfare services through eight welfare centers, including support for low-income marginalized groups and donations of vehicles to social welfare facilities. The foundation is also actively involved in improving educational environments worldwide by building schools in areas with insufficient educational facilities, dispatching university student volunteer groups, etc.
