The KT&G Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications until May 20 for '2022 University Sangsang Scholarship Students' to assist college students with financial difficulties.

The recruitment of 'University Sangsang Scholarship Students' is intended for recipients of basic subsistence income and the second-income class attending domestic universities, and a total of 200 students will be selected and awarded scholarships of 3 million won each. 

To apply, visit the website of the KT&G Scholarship Foundation and submit the application form and required materials.  The KT&G Scholarship Foundation plans to announce the final recipients on June 7 following a thorough review of the applications following the application deadline.

A representative of the KT&G Scholarship Foundation stated, "We are recruiting '2022 University Sangsang Scholarship Students' in order to provide a stable academic environment and financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students, and we will continue to expand scholarship programs to alleviate educational disparities and foster future generations.”

The KT&G Scholarship Foundation is a public interest corporation that was established in 2008 to practice KT&G's management philosophy of being a "company together with the people" and is implementing various scholarship projects domestically and internationally. Since 2011, 'Sangsang Scholarship Students' have been chosen annually to support the academic endeavors of middle school, high school, and college students requiring assistance. In total, 9,700 students have benefited from the KT&G Scholarship Foundation's scholarship programs so far, which have provided a total of 37.5 billion won in support.
