KT&G (CEO Bok-in Beak) held the 9th Sangsang Realization Contest final presentation competition and award ceremony at KT&G Gangnam building on December 11.
Sangsang Realization Contest is on-the-job growth competition which supports the participants’ growth and field experience by providing intensive mentoring by the judges composed of KT&G employees and external professionals.
The contest was categorized into three categories including Ad - advertisement with image, Planning – proposal, and Story – with essay, related to corporate & social responsibility activity.
For Ad and Planning categories, twelve teams who passed two preliminary screening with workshop and mentoring experience led by the renowned judges including the celebrity copywriter Cheol Jeong and KT&G employees. The grand prize for Ad was given to team Dreaming with ‘Unconventional new imagination -Sangsang’. Team Gosongi with ‘Sangsang Store Project’ and Soyoung Moon with ‘The Only Cheering Dining Table made by SangSang’ received the grand prize for Ad and Planning category, respectively.
SangSang Funding Award system by which the cash award was allocated by the number of votes won by the judges was applied and 28.8 million won was given to 42 teams including 3 grand prize winners, 6 excellence prize winners and 9 third prize winners.
Minkyung Ko, the grand prize winner of Planning said, “I had an opportunity to have on-the-job training and improve the quality of my proposal thanks to the mentoring of celebrity participants, which was unheard of in other competitions. I would like to recommend this competition to my friends for their improvement as well.”
A related person of KT&G said, “Sangsang Realizatation Contest has differentiated advantage which helps the participants improve through the partnership with the industry professionals. KT&G will develop the program every year for the participants to improve themselves.
