KT&G (CEO Bok-in Baek) will hold ‘Wednesday Project’ concert with the 6th singer, ‘Moon Moon’ a singer-songwriter, from August 2 to August 30 at SangsangMadang.

Wednesday Project in its 6th year since 2012 provides concerts for relatively unknown musicians with growth potential for 5 to 7 weeks on every Wednesday.

The musician Moon Moon was introduced to the public by a famous singer I.U. and Jeong Kuk, a member of Bangtan Boys, who mentioned the song ‘Vapor Trail’ by Moon  Moon. All the concert tickets of ‘My First Concert’ scheduled on June 25, for which KT&G SangsangMadang provided a concert hall, were sold out within a minute.

Wednesday Project ‘Moon, Moon, Summer Moon’ will start from August 2, and each concert will introduce various kinds of music genre. You can buy tickets at http://ticket.melon.com in advance.

Hyoseok Ji, head of culture contribution division, said, “Amid growing public interest in art welfare since the inauguration of the new government, KT&G has supported relatively unknown artists through ‘band discovery’, ‘S.round’ as well.”

Since 2012, as part of Wednesday Project, KT&G SangsangMadang has attracted great public attention starting with ‘Gonne Choi’, singer-songwriter, followed by a punk rock band ‘Yellow Monsters’, musicians including ‘Sunwoo JungA’, ‘2nd Moon’, and ‘Sang Ji Koh’ with a concept of one team musician concert for 5 to 7 weeks.
