KT&G (CEO Bok-in Baek) held ‘2016 Sangsang Realization Contest’ final presentation and award ceremony at KT&G building in Gamngnam-gu, Seoul on November 30.

The competition was made of ‘printing advertisement’ and ‘project proposal’. Participants who went to the second round were advised by professionals through ‘Sangsang Incubating’ in October for better results and a total of six teams were selected to go to the final round.

The Grand Prize was given to ‘Intersection’ team with ‘Dream Closet’ for printing advertisement. The team was praised by the panel of judges for distinctive and simple messaging of CSR activity of KT&G. ‘Dream Architect’ team for project proposal was awarded the Excellent Award.

KRW 4million and visiting tickets for ‘Asia Pacific Advertisement Festival’, the largest advertisement event in Asia, were awarded for the grand prize winner. KRW 17.5 million in total was awarded for prize winners including KRW 3.5 million for the excellent prize winner.

Participants voluntarily a specified topic among 15 KT&G keywords, which is differentiated compared with other competitions with one topic given.

 

The final competition will be held a form of unique awarding system where prize money is calculated by multiplying KRW 500,000 and the number of votes out of 12 judges. Regardless of the ranking, ‘Best Presenter’ team was awarded KRW 500,000 separately.

Hyundeok Choi, the grand prize winner, said, “Sangsang Realization contest was differentiated with mentoring workshop which was helpful for self-development and elevated product design. I want to recommend Sangsang Realization contest will directly help participants to have a better chance to get a job.”

According to a survey from activities portal service, annual Sangsang Realization Contest started in 2010 has been recognized as the best program among competition exhibits. From this year on, especially, KT&G changed the contest name in to Sangsang Realization Contest to provide a differentiated service including judging process.”
